The Anjou AOC is an appellation rich in history and diversity. This wine-growing region is a must for wine lovers. Anjou is a wine-growing appellation in the Loire region of France, near Angers, which produces famous red and white wines. Grape varieties grown in the Loire Valley The Anjou AOC covers several types of wine: red, white, rosé and sparkling. For the moment, we only sell white and red organic wines. The red wines are made from Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, with secondary grapes of Grolleau and Pineau d’Aunis permitted.

Description
Soil: schisto-gravelly
Exposure: south-west
Geographical location: commune of Champ-sur-Layon
Harvesting: By hand.: Manuelles.
Vinification: Fermentation and ageing in temperature-controlled vats for 4 months. Bottled in the spring following the harvest.
Cellaring: 2 years.
Tasting notes: Light yellow colour. Fresh, elegant nose with aromas of white flowers and exotic fruit. Clean attack, supple and fruity on the palate. Light, lively finish.
Food and wine pairing:
Serve as an aperitif with just-seared prawns!
Grilled sardines, pan-fried potatoes.
