CRÉMANT DE LOIRE ROSÉ “FOLIE DES LOUPS”DOMAINE DE NERLEUX

13,00  incl. VAT

Domaine de Nerleux is a family estate in the Loire Valley. The Nerleux, or “Black Wolves” in old French, have long since given way to vines, and Amélie Neau, the 9th generation of winemakers, has been at the helm since 2010.

The latest generation is represented by Amélie Neau who, in 2010, after ten years’ professional experience in the banking sector, answered the call of the land, her land. After training in viticulture and winemaking, she joined her parents, Elisabeth and Régis, on the estate. The handover was short-lived and Amélie quickly took over from her parents, who are now enjoying a well-deserved retirement.

Wine tasting
The colour has the delicacy of raspberry and the colour of Loire salmon. The effervescence forms a delicate creamy cordon.
The nose is tenacious, with red and black fruit (raspberry, strawberry, blackcurrant) adding a lovely fruity freshness.
On the palate, the impression is velvety, even unctuous. Only the fine bubbles, sparkling with mischief, excite the taster’s satiated palate. The lively, subtle aromas of rose, rosemary, cherry and softwood complement the interesting liveliness softened by the vanilla.
Food & wine pairing: As an aperitif, or with spicy salmon and most red fruit desserts.
