COTEAUX DU LAYON 1° CRU CHAUME DOMAINE DE LA BERGERIE
32,00 € incl. VAT
In the Guégniard family, winegrowing has been handed down from mother to son or father to daughter for eight generations…
Domaine de la Bergerie was bought from La Bougie in 1961 by Yves’s grandmother, Marie-Scolastique, a woman of strong character who had run her estate alone since the age of 37. This acquisition adds to the family’s winegrowing heritage. In 1964, Marie-Scolastique passed on the estate to her daughter Marie-Agnès. From then on, the vineyard underwent a long period of restoration. In 1979, Yves joined his parents on the family farm. He is the seventh generation of winegrowers. Since then, Yves and his wife Marie-Annick have acquired some great terroirs.Savennières, Quarts de Chaume Grand Cru, Coteaux du Layon 1er Cru Chaume). They devote themselves to the work of their vines and the quality of their wine.
