Jean-Luc Viaud represents the 4th generation of winegrowers in his family. He has inherited from his predecessors a passion for his profession that he shares with his wife, Bernadette, an oenologist. They are committed to developing biodiversity on the farm, with an abundance of flora and fauna. The estate is the birthplace of the Melon rouge grape variety. It is also contributing to the renaissance of the Berligou grape variety. You can discover a wide range of products. It includes: vintage Goulaine MSM/Lie, AOC Muscadet Sèvre et Maine Sur Lie and Gros Plant du Pays Nantais sur lie, IGP du Val de Loire: white, red and rosé, mellow, Traditional Method, sparkling rosé, sparkling and still grape juice, local products. Depending on demand, Jean-Luc and Bernadette also offer guided tours of the vineyards and winery.
This white wine comes from a single parcel on a south-west facing hillside. This terroir gives the wine a unique character, combining freshness, roundness and refinement on both the nose and the palate. A year’s ageing on the lees enhances its volume on the palate and its ageing potential.

Description
This cuvée is made from a single plot of old Melon de Bourgogne or Melon Blanc vines. Its terroir is characterized by :

- – A west-facing slopeThese are all assets that guarantee the finesse, substance, balance and ageing potential of the Petit Panloup cuvée.
The precision-operated grape harvester ensures that the ripe berries are picked quickly. Mechanical harvesting
Direct pressing, 12 to 18 hours of settling and filtration of the must extract the wine’s substance and refine it.
Alcoholic fermentation at 16-20°C reveals the wine’s complex aromas, which vary from vintage to vintage.
A year’s ageing on lees helps develop the wine’s roundness and ageing potential of at least 5 years. With age, it gains tertiary aromas that enrich its aromatic palette and reinforce its personality.
The quality of Cuvée Petit Panloup is recognized by connoisseurs of refined dry white wines.
Food pairing: This wine goes well with a wide variety of dishes, including seafood, especially shellfish. It is particularly well-suited to fish with beurre blanc sauce.
